Holy Nation Kingdom Building is a faith based, 501c3 tax exempt organization, which that has a track record of engagement and activation of the Black and other low-income communities in metro Norfolk Virginia. We are dedicated to growing and supporting a thriving, socioeconomically and racially diverse Virginia where residents share in the success and improvement of their communities. To achieve this vision we work to stimulate private and public investment in housing, health, infrastructure, parks, employment Federal, state, county, and city services; we also mobilize and support existing residents to participate in voting, planning and implementation of community voting rights and other projects that improve their quality of life; and attract residents to be involved in civic engagement. Our work is multi-layered and can only be accomplished with partners in the community—residents, first and foremost, but also with community organizations, schools, anchor institutions, government, local businesses, and employers—that share in our vision at Holy Nation Kingdom Building.
